Happy Six Month Anniversary! 0

Can’t believe six months has gone by. Time files when you’re having fun. Looking forward to the next six, and the next, and the next….

Look who turned 1! 0

Zach and I were in South Pasadena this weekend for Esmée’s first birthday. It was a fun day at the park, despite the rain! Here we are with the birthday monkey.

We’re back! 0

The wedding, reception, and honeymoon were all fantastic! While I haven’t had time to put pictures up yet, rest assured that they’re coming.

To tide you over, here are some videos from the honeymoon. Three at Pipeline, one of a mother and calf humpback, and one of a fire dancer. As they say on the islands, Kona’kamali’iki’ama’napu’liku’niki!

Pictures are forthcoming!

Disneyland 0

We’re getting down to the last few weeks before the wedding! Martha and I decided it would be fun to take a break and go to Disneyland. Here’s a gallery with some of our pictures.

Activities! 0

Martha and I have just posted the schedule of activities leading up to the big day. If you’re in town, we’d love to see you at one or more of them!

Bachelor Party 0

Last weekend, 14 of my friends and I took a cruise from San Pedro to Ensenada. I’m still not sure exactly what happened, but it was a blast. Bryce barely made it through customs at Tijuana; Micah gained considerable clarity concerning his dissertation on moral ethics; and I (largely) withstood the pressure to do tequila shots.

Josh made some pictures available. Here are Brad’s. And here’s what I got with my iPhone.

Oh yeah, Bryce paid up on the Blue Label. Mmm, mmm.

Better late than never! 0

This post is a long time in coming, so please forgive us. Martha and I had a great trip to Seattle at the end of October. Martha’s aunt and mom threw a lovely shower for her, and we even got to eat at Red Robin. You can see two pictures in this gallery.

If you have more pictures, please send them along!

Orange County Engagement Party 0

Engagement party number two was a lovely evening at my parents’ house. Little did Martha and I know that her parents had decided yesterday on the spur of the moment to fly down and attend the party. What a treat!

It was exciting to see people from different eras of my life interacting and having a good time together. It’s a pity we don’t do that more often.

Here are some pictures. If you have any to add to the mix, please send them our way! Thanks to everybody who was there and especially those who made it happen.

Santa Barbara Engagement Party 0

The first engagement party was a major success! Thanks to everybody who helped out. We had a really fun time, and the only thing that would have made it better was for the people who couldn’t make it to have been there.

Here’s a gallery of photos. Enjoy!

Starting tomorrow, Martha and I have 2 engagement parties in 8 days. Percentage wise, that’s infinitely more than I’ve ever had in my life to this point.

Surely there will be pictures!

Heads Up #2 0

Note the countdown timer at the bottom of this page.

Quick Heads Up 0

Just a note to let you know that we are moving right along with our planning.  We should have hotel information online very soon for those of you who are coming from outside the area.

And for those of you who are local, word is that an engagement party will be happening in the middle of August.  More details to come!

Gimme an H! 0

Tonight Marlene gave me this cute engagement gift in honor of my new last name.

We were treated to a tasty Italian dinner last night. Here are some pictures.
